Sothe day I left for camp, I found out that morning that Lurissa Holcomb had died. She was shot in a drive by the night before. I didn’t believe it at first, but it was everywhere and eventually I didn’t have a choice but to.

I was in a state of shock at first, but once it kicked in, my heart dropped. I felt so bad, I started feeling sick to my stomach. I had just saw her a few weeks ago like randomly.

It reminded me of how short life is, and it gets you when you least expect it. I was happy and sad that, that was the day I was going to camp. Now that I’m back, it could not of happen at a better time.

Shes in a better place, and when its your time its simply that, your time.

I love you lurissa, and will Cherish our memories, Goodbye dear.
